It’s my first class. What do I need to know?

What happens when I get to the studio?
Check in with our contactless check-in protocol at the front desk. You can then rent shoes and buy water if you don’t have your own. Then, leave all your belongings in one of our keycode lockers. Once we open the doors, you may enter the studio and find your bike. If you need help setting up your bike, you may flag down one of our RIDE staff and they will assist you.

What do I need to bring to class?
Here’s a quick list of what we recommend bringing to class:
-A water bottle (you can also buy water from our studio for $2)
-Cycling shoes (you can also rent these from our studio for $2)
-Socks (you can also buy socks from our studio for $12)
-Workout clothes

What should I wear?
Wear something you can sweat in! Close-fitting workout leggings or shorts are most comfortable to wear on the bike.

Can I get my first class free?
Currently during the pandemic, we have paused our first class free option. However, we are offering a first class to new clients at a reduced rate of $15.

How are your studios responding to the pandemic?

Are you open?
Yes! We are currently offering classes in studio with small class sizes and a rigorous cleaning and disinfecting protocol. We are also offering stream at home classes for those wanting to stay at home.

What are you doing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the studio?
We are currently only offering small class sizes and have developed a rigorous and above-and-beyond cleaning and disinfecting process for all studios. We enforce social distancing and require masks in all of our studios.

Do I need to wear a mask at RIDE?
Yes! Currently to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we require all clients to wear a mask while in the studio. Wearing a mask while working out on your bike is optional.

Where do I park?

DOWNTOWN. We offer free parking before 4pm daily at City Hall and during the evening at AMLI Downtown. On weekends you can also park at Silicon Labs on Colorado Street. Bring your parking ticket to our studio for 2-hour validation. Please note that before 9am on weekends, Silicon Labs and City Hall are the correct places to park.

HILL COUNTRY GALLERIA. Behind the studio both surface parking and a covered deck are available.

THE HEIGHTS. We have our own surface parking lot across Lawrence Street exclusively for RIDE clients.

HUGHES LANDING. Parking is provided in the Whole Foods parking deck across the street.

WESTLAKE: There is ample surface parking in the lot in front of the studio.

WEST U: There is ample surface parking in the lot in front of the studio.

What about apparel?

What’s your apparel return policy?
We are happy to get a return/exchanged started for you if you are in the 2 week window (from time of purchase). The tags should be attached and the items cannot be washed or worn. If you are close to one of our studios, we can have a manager reach out for a curbside return/exchange. If not, you are more than welcome to ship back to us for a refund! We can also ship a different size to you for $5.

If an item is purchased during a sale period, the items are final sale.

Can I shop for apparel online?
We currently do not have an e-commerce option for apparel, however, if you are looking to shop virtually, take a look at our Instagram page for our Stories Store. If you’d like to make a purchase, you may DM us at @rideindoorcycling for details and enjoy free curbside pickup or $5 flat rate shipping.

Tell me more about RIDE Live Streaming.

How can I rent a bike to use at home?
Some of our studios are renting our bikes in limited quantities. You can rent a bike for $85/week. We also have an option to bundle our unlimited streaming RIDE Live classes with a bike rental for $105/week.

How can I start streaming RIDE Live classes from home?
Start by purchasing either a single RIDE Live class for $12 or subscribing to our unlimited streaming for $35/week. Then, click on “HCG + RIDE Live” to view the schedule.

How do I stream once I sign up for a RIDE Live Class?
You will receive the streaming link 15 minutes prior to class starting but can also access this link through your account on the website (not the app), clicking on the drop down menu and selecting “RIDE LIVE”. If you view the link or video on the website prior to class starting, you may have to refresh a few times once it’s set to go live.

How does the waitlist work?

If you are on the WL, you will get automatically put on a bike if someone late-cancels and then you will receive an email of the bike reservation. If no one cancels, we will call you to let you know a bike unfortunately did not come available. Don’t worry though, you get that credit back in your account to use for a future class!

How do I sign up for class?

On the RESERVE page, click on a studio and class time you’d like to reserve. Then, click on any available bike in the studio map. If a class is full, you can put yourself on the waitlist. If a bike opens up in that class, you’ll be placed into the class and notified via email or phone.

How far in advance do I have to cancel class to avoid a penalty?

You must cancel by 8:00pm the day before your scheduled class in order to avoid penalty. If you cancel after 8:00pm, you will forfeit one credit. Cancel your class by visiting “My Account” on the RIDE website.

If I buy a series of classes, does it expire?

Yes! Classes expire depending on the amount of classes in your series. You can see how much time you have left before expiration in your RIDE account.

1 Class: 30 days
5 Classes: 2 months
10 Classes: 4 months
20 Classes: 9 months
40 Classes: 15 months
